Unfortunately, no, shameful, tiger numbers are still in decline, poaching is still the number one threat. In 2009, 86 deaths in Tiger were reported in India alone, and the number of wild tigers remaining here is now estimated at only 1,400. At the beginning of the last century, this was 40,000. The truth is that we could be one of the last remaining generations on Earth, who has the chance to see this incredible creature in the wild. The best place to see the tigers is India, with almost half of the world’s wild tigers, but here are 39 tiger sanctuaries. To help you decide where to get the big cat shots, here is the selection of safari parks in India.

This reserve was created in 1905 to restore the rhino population, which was about to disappear at that time. Today these animals represent 2/3 of the total number of inhabitants in the reserve. In addition to rhinos, there are buffaloes, deer and even river dolphins. By the way, the park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. The park is open to the public from November to March, but access may be temporarily restricted during the floods (June to September). See extra details on Wildlife safari in India.

The second largest city in Kenya is Mombasa, a landmark with history, since the twelfth century an important trading center for Arab vessels. In the 15th century, Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer, is considered the first white man to set foot here. The old town has a distinct, exotic and at the same time familiar air, a mixture of cultures, the predominant being the Arab one. For a break of time in the true sense of the word, visit Kenya!

Kenya safari tip : Where to stay in Kenya: As with Tanzania, if you go strictly on safari, you will find “all-inclusive” options – with entrance to the park, accommodation, food three times a day, transport, guide. On the Indian Ocean coast you will find a greater variety of accommodation units, from cozy hostels to imposing 5-star hotels. Kenya Visa: It’s easy to get – at the border, in exchange for $ 51. National Parks – Lei hunting, giraffes eating baobabi, zebras passing the famous Masai Mara river? There are only a few episodes you will see in Kenya’s national parks. There are dozens, so you have to choose, however, the most important is Masai Mara, the place where many films or documentaries were filmed. Source: https://book-my-safari.com/.

National park in Tadoba guides

Tadoba national park is an incredible travel destination. If you want to observe diversified wildlife, to feel the incredible smell of the forest, to relax in the wild , going back to human land roots. There are plenty of national parks in India, here is some information about them and especially on Tadoba National Park.

Bandhavgarh is not the most accessible national park in India, but it has the best chance of seeing a tiger in the wild (also high on the list are Ranthambore in Rajasthan near Delhi, and Tadoba in Maharashtra). For those who are wanting to catch a bite of a big cat, it is well worth the effort to go there. If you allow two days for safaris, it is likely to be successful. Many people see a tiger on their first safari. See more info on Tadoba resorts.

If you want to see wild tigers in India, forget about Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore. In this 1,700 square kilometer reserve, there is usually no question of whether you will see a tiger, but rather how much. The most recent census, conducted in 2016, estimates that the reserve has 86 tigers. Of these, 48 are located in the central area of ??625 square kilometers. In northeastern Maharashtra, in Chandrapur district. Tadoba is located about 140 kilometers south of Nagpur and 40 kilometers north of Chandrapur.

Must have for a Tadoba safari : A special detail for the ladies: before we left I read a good tip, which I unfortunately forgot. It is preferable to wear a sports bag, driving to and through such parks is very shaky, I guarantee you will appreciate a set of straps that do not slip off your shoulders every 5 minutes. Clothes with camouflage prints are to be avoided, Indians seem to have a certain phobia for military outfits, and even if they got used to it because it became fashionable, it would be better not to have them in their luggage. First-aid and relief medicines: pain, diarrhea, itching, sunburn, something against motion sickness, etc. See more info about https://tadoba-national-park-booking.com/.

Expats tips to pick the top travel places in Europe. What is this longing and why does it encompass us? Whether we are young or old, rich or poor, cultivated or under-cultivated, single or family – this longing encompasses all of us. Longing for a shower is an ancient phenomenon. For a long time religious pilgrimages were perceived as genuine journeys, made with great sacrifices by ordinary people, while educational journeys addressed people in the upper strata of society. And travel is perceived especially as an enrichment, a healing, something that cultivates you, rests you, strengthens your character, broadens your sphere of knowledge, something with positive effects.

When thinking of Venice, people tend to have a stereotypical image of an Italian man with a moustache standing on a gondola and sailing down the Grand Canal in Venice. Although there are many canals in the city of Venice, the Grand Canal is the main waterway through the city. The canal is 3.8 kilometers long and stretches between the San Marco basin at one end and th3e lagoon by the Santa Lucia railway station at the other. It is used as a waterway for public transport, including the famous gondolas, water buses, and private water taxis. The canal is lined by houses, shops, restaurants, and historical structures. It is an interesting and unique way to travel across Venice and see the city from a different perspective.

Expats in Europe trick of the day : Unless it’s Spanish and you took it in college, ’cause then it’ll probably be easy. But if not, make an effort to at least learn the basics immediately; people will be a lot friendlier if you show an interest in their native tongue, and it will help ease everyday interactions. And remember, every country has its own sayings and slang — there’s bound to be some miscommunication, even if you’ve spoken the language for a long time. Read extra details on We Be Trippin Europe.

Mingle with other expats. While you don’t want your whole social circle to be those who have migrated from other countries, it’s often helpful to have individuals who are going through the same situation as you around. Additionally, these individuals may be able to offer great insight on where to find good international services like international health insurance.

Don’t be Afraid of a Little Headache. I hate to say it, but it is almost inevitable that you will get some sort of headache at some stage on the trip. Unfortunately, I suffer from bad headaches at altitude and have had to learn ways to manage them and not let them ruin my experience. One of the best ways to combat these headaches is by listening to the advice of Tip 4; always drink plenty of water while in the mountains. One of the greatest causes of headaches in the mountains is due to dehydration, so drinking water can greatly help to eliminate or lessen your headaches. Another trick that I have found to be helpful is to add a Disprin to my water every morning and another each evening. This will help to slightly thin out your blood and help to reduce headaches caused by the thickening of your blood at altitude. We highly recommend taking Ibuprofen helps reduce inflammation and pressure in your brain. These headaches are completely normal to experience at high to extreme altitude and they are not something to be too afraid of, however if these headaches get very extreme and limit your ability to think straight, eat, sleep, or walk in the mountains, you may need to seek medical attention.

Everest region trekking area is protected under the Sagarmatha National Park. The northern part of the district (Khumbu) is encompassed in the Everest National Park, which was established to protect the fragile environment of the alpine region. Likewise the region is close to Makalu-Barun National Park in eastern part. This national park is remote and wild stretch of mountain peaks and deep densely forested valleys. To the west is the Rolwaling valley, a well-protected microcosm of cultures and ecology. The southern part of the district, Solu is much less frequented by tourist and be a very rewarding destination in its own right. Besides the Mount Everest there are other 8,000 meter peaks in the region. Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu and in addition numerous other peaks lesser altitude but no less stunning. Add to this glacial lakes rhododendron forest, native flora and fauna, traditional villages and ancient Buddhist monasteries, all go to make this region a spectacular destination.

Top advices : Pack Tang. Bring tang to flavour your water. Water can get pretty boring and you have to stay hydrated at altitude. Flavoured water helps you to drink more and is far more enjoyable than just water all the time.

Buy Gear in Kathmandu – Kathmandu has more trekking shops then you can count and intense competition means you can get great prices on gear you might not be able to afford at home. I bought my wife a great down jacket for around $50 that would have cost over $300 in the US. At first glance a lot of the gear looks similar but quality varies quite a bit and it’s not necessarily related to price (Here’s what to look for). If you like we can arrange for one of the team from Himalayanwonders to accompany you while you shop and help you find what you need.
