Bangkok main attraction : Amphawa floating market

Bangkok is a delightful place to see. We will talk about Bangkok attractions and especially the Bangkok floating market. The Wat Traimit temple in the Chinatown area is best known for it’s more than 3 meter (10 foot) high golden Buddha image weighing more than five tons. Cast in the Sukhothai style, the image is about 900 years old and was covered in plaster to hide its value. Only in 1957 it was discovered that the statue was pure gold, when the image was moved to a new building and slipped from a crane. The temple itself is said to date from the early 13th century.

Sheer luck (or lack thereof) makes this attraction special. During the 1950s, the East Asiatic Company purchased the land around the temple. A condition of the sale was the removal of a plaster statue of Buddha, but the statue proved too heavy for the crane being used. The cable parted and the figure was dropped, being left overnight where it fell. It happened to be in the rainy season, and when next morning some monks walked past, they noticed a glint of gold shining through the plaster. The coating was removed, revealing a 3.5 m Buddha cast from 5.5 tons of solid gold. All attempts to trace the origin of this priceless statue have so far failed, but it is assumed to date from the Sukhothai period, when marauding invaders threatened the country and its treasures, and it became common practice to conceal valuable Buddha figures beneath a coating of plaster. No one knows how it came to Bangkok, but here it stands available for the admiration of visitors from all over the world.

Adventure travel places and San Blas day tour

Salina Cruz adventure travel locations are a trendy thing in 2019. With 365 islands in total, island hopping is a must during a visit to the San Blas Islands. Companies like Cacique Cruiser specialize in adventures through the archipelago. You can opt to stay as long as you would like in the islands, as most of them have family-run casitas, which are open to travelers to the area.

Tourists from around the world come to San Blas exclusively for this important ride, La Tovara and Camalota Lagoon, where the crocodile sanctuary is located within the estuary area of the municipality of San Blas. Its ecological environment remains untouched, allowing direct contact with nature and to feel the thrill of entering a special habitat of flora and fauna.

Isla Perro or in English Dog Island is a famous and well-visited spot by travel guides in the San Blas area. Isla Perro is beautiful because of the white sand beach, crystal clear water, palm trees and small bar with a volleyball field in front of it. You can even spend the night here in a tent or hammock. But most people come to Isla Perro for snorkeling in and around the shipwreck gunboat that lies around 50 meters in front of the beach, when tide is low you can see it hitting the sea surface. Because of this shipwreck the second name of the island is sometimes Isla Gunboat. Nature is taking over the ship and it is full of coral, plants and other sea life. You can see small fish hiding in the shipwreck but also bigger fish hunting around in the open sea around it. Therefore, Isla Perro is the #1 spot for snorkeling and relaxing in San Blas. This is one of the islands everybody needs to visit when traveling to Guna Yala. At Tao Travel 365 we believe in eco-friendly travel preserving the beauties of nature and forming meaningful human relationships with the locals, while adhering to our Tao philosophies that focus on being in balance with yourself and with nature. Every adventure we offer to our customers has been handpicked and personally experienced by Michael and Paola, who value high quality experiences, great prices and excellent customer service. Few attractions include Mexcaltitan Island ,Singular island with just 5 streets that form a radial structure. The experience of crossing them is unique, since they are completely pedestrian, made at a different scale, which gives a totally different feeling. In the first picture of the town you will find its main tourist attractions, the park, the church and a museum. If you get hungry, there are three restaurants that offer seafood.

Have you ever wanted to spend a day and a night on your own beautiful island? An island paradise smack-bang in the middle of gorgeous clear blue seas where there’s no one else around?A place where all you have to do is jump in the water when it gets too hot? Well, the island you see in the image above is one of those. We stayed there on our second night. Well that’s San Blas. It gets even better. We had a Kuna Native visit us. An hour after he left he dropped off some ice cold beers we could enjoy around the fire on our own island. I guess Robinson Crusoe wouldn’t have minded that service!

The San Blas trip is possible all year round. But you need to know one important thing: It’s windy season from December to March. This means there will be high waves, not necessarily around San Blas since it’s sheltered by a reef, but the journey over open seas can get rough (read more about the routes below). If you get seasick easily the sailing trip might not be for you. If you are adventurous and like the idea of sailing, then yes it’s for you!

Coral Lodge, featured in Conde Nast’s Hot Hotel list, on the coast near San Blas, is the upscale lodging option with handsomely appointed individual water villas each with a jacuzzi, gorgeous views and excellent cuisine. It was rated by Conde Nast as having the “best view from the tub”. Coral lodge has Tahiti-style cabins over the sea with wrap around decks, an indoor jacuzzis and an excellent onsite restaurant. From there you can take day trips to the islands. Nearby trips include boat rides to a pristine island to sunbath and snorkel (which you’ll most probably have all to yourself) a boat trip to snorkel at the famous sunken ship site and a tour of an island Guna indian village. In Guna Yala, lunch and dinner will be freshly caught seafood- lobsters and delectable fish- bring something else if you’re not a seafood fan. Extra details on San Blas sailing.

Bangkok is a delightful destination to see. We will talk about Bangkok attractions and especially the floating market Bangkok. Khao San Road is, technically speaking, a small road located about a block from the Chao Phraya River. Khaosan translates as “milled rice”, a reminder that in former times the street was a major Bangkok rice market. In the last 20 years, however, Khaosan Road has developed into a world famous backpackers hangout. It offers cheap accommodation, ranging from dorm style hostels to reasonably priced 3-star hotels as well as bars, food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, internet cafes and travel agencies.

History buffs in particular will want to devote at least half a sightseeing day to the national museum, if not more. Until the mid-1970s, this was Thailand’s only museum, which explains why its collection is so big. Fortunately, just about every exhibit is labeled in Thai and English and guided tours are also offered in English, so you won’t miss out on any of the country’s fascinating ancient and contemporary history. The old Wang Na Palace built by Rama I remains essentially as it was, and stands as a testament to Thai history. Visitors can see regalia, religious and ceremonial artifacts, ceramics, games, weaponry, musical instruments and the Viceroy’s throne, as well as an impressive collection of Buddha figures arranged according to period.

Why is Greece so special?

What makes the region so special?
With 6,000 islands, 4,000 years of history, great hospitality and scrumptious food. Only in Greece! That’s why Greece is a paradise for yacht owners, and if you are a yach owner you also need a Greece catamaran yacht charter.

A Feast for the Senses
Mediterranean cuisine is at its best in this region. Every part of Greece has its own specialty of traditional dishes. The land, the land and the crafty hands of the local inhabitants produce an unique combination of flavors you will never forget. A traditional meal at a taverna consists of meze. Meze consists of small plates similar to the Spanish tapas. Here youll receive plate, after plate of grilled veggies, salads, tzatziki, saganaki, feta, lamb and a variety of seafood. While in Greece you should eat and enjoy as many great local Greek products as you can. Here the yogurt is among some of the finest you will ever taste and Greece boasts a great variety of local liquors and Greek wines. No proper Greek meal is complete without bottles of Ouzo or Tsikoudia, whatever the local spirit is. You can shoot it or mix it with water giving it a cloudy white appearance. Yamas! meaning to our health is the way to cheers.

Greece Yacht Charter
The best way to see Greece is with your own chartered yacht. The magic of a yacht is that it is an island in itself and you can see things that are impossible to visit otherwise. There are many places in Greece that are not accessible by road or by any other means than by yacht, and these are the most magical places that a person can visit.

Which areas should I visit on a yacht?
There are just so many islands and each one has its own character. The Cyclades group of islands is the popular yachting area because they have everything there. The Cyclades comprise about 220 islands, the major ones being Delos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros and Santorni. Mykonos is of course a famous island popular for it’s nightlife and entertainment. During August the Ionian group of Islands is less windy with calmer seas so it is more relaxed area. Consisting of seven islands with the most populat known as Corfu, Paxos, Lefkas and Cythera.

Instead of mooring in a particular marina, you can sail to a secluded cove around the corner where you can moor in all privacy. Then you wake in the morning to discover an unbelievable bay that is completely unique and unspoilt, ready for you to explore.

The most superyachts with charter rates above 200,000 per week are based in Athens which is one reason why Greece is the most popular yacht charter destination in the world.

It is impossible in a lifetime to see everything in Greece. Therefore experience the life on an island and explore it in its entirety as every island will offer an unique experience to the visitor.

Hospitality
The Greek concept of hospitality, filoxenia , is deeply rooted in rituals that are expressions of an authentic relationship between guest, i.e., stranger, and host based on generosity, courtesy, and friendship. To the Greeks, moreover, the notion of xenia frames a form of ritualized friendship consisting of rules of behavior associated with respect, protection, and guidance that must not be violated. For instance, respect between host and guest, especially genuine displays of honor by the host at receiving the guest, is a longstanding staple of Greek hospitality. The true meaning of Greek hospitality, moreover, involves not only equalizing a stranger/guest with the host, but also making the her/him feel protected and taken care of, and at the end of the hosting encounter, even providing guidance to the next destination.

Geography
Greek geography is as varied as you might imagine. From brilliant white roofs cut against wonderful ravishing blue skies to astonishing sunsets over crystal clear azure waters. The Greeks were historically a sea-faring nation, largely because of the numerous deep water bays in the Greek archipelago that could harbor their ships. These small bays make for a wonderful place to go for a swim or snorkeling where youre always be rewarded with tranquility. The only way to visit these secluded bays is with a private yacht charter.

Greece is filled with many archaeological sites, ancient ruins and buildings that easily date back to the turn of the century. Many of these are very well protected and restored and are a great tourist attraction. The Greeks are very proud of their remarkable history. After all, they gave us modern philosophy and democracy.

Affordability
Accommodation prices are affordable and you will always get value for money. Whether you are travelling in luxury or looking for budget options, you can find it all in Greece. Life is more affordable in Greece than other European countries and tourists can enjoy all the pleasure of life at affordable prices.

Greece is one of the most popular world travelling destinations and for good reason!
