Personal development with transformative teaching ways… Transformational coaching can help get you on your way to butterflydom. When doubt and fear begin to take over and your need for a guaranteed outcome prevents you from taking any action, a personal development coach will be there to keep you on track.

There are personal development models that focus most directly on the problem. They listen and look for symptoms and then find solutions to those symptoms, and the problem goes away. The model of coaching you are presently reviewing is different, in that it looks at the problem as something that actually serves the client. Our normal problem solving paradigm doesn’t allow this perspective to be revealed. Shifting perspective, shifting the paradigm, will dissolve the illusion that the presenting problem is actually the problem. This allows the underlying conversations and conflicts to surface. By conflicts, I mean those interpretations and beliefs that support the “problem” being experienced as a problem.

Transformational coaching draws its roots from a number of places and schools of thought. It takes what has proven valuable in old-school coaching methods and draws them together with new and deeper insights. In fact, transformational coaching is part of such an evolutionary process, gradually developing and adapting from other methods, you can’t even pin down when such a ‘thing’ started. This brings something incredibly powerful to coaching because it brings to the client all the benefits of learning which have gone before, and connects them on a deeper, more substantial, level. Don’t try to be everything to everyone. Focus. Relentlessly grow as a professional. Have a vision for yourself and pursue diligently. Though progress requires action, sometimes we can be too quick to act. Sometimes a momentary pause is all we need to see a challenge from a different perspective, therefore resulting in a different and more effective approach. Thinking and acting are not mutually exclusive. Switching perspective from “me” to “you” switches everything. The saying “people don’t care who you are until they know what you can do from them” is absolutely true! Anyone wanting to influence anyone else must first know what is already influencing them. You do that by asking enough questions to truly understand what they need, and then packaging what you want in a way that meets their needs first.

When you invest into each of these training areas, your managers, supervisors, team leads would acquire enhanced communication, team work, and problem solving skills. They would be able to improve their relationship with the employees and would be able to resolve people problems in reduced time and effort. Your managers and supervisors would experience greater self and leadership awareness and higher energy levels. Further, corporate training would improve your managers and team leads’ ability to learn from a quickly changing environment.
